Recently, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) stated its report that the countys inflation rose to 31.70 percent in February 2024 against 29.90 percent in January, due to subsidy removal and unification of the exchange rate declared by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu while delivering his maiden speech upon his assumption of office in May 2023, which caused economic hardship to Nigerians.
President Bola Tinubu has promised Nigerians that his government would bring down inflation ravaging countrys economy, assuring Nigerians not to be troubled about the rising inflation rate in the country.
