Cocoa farmers in Nigeria will soon have a high profile member in their midst. He is no other person than the number two citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Vice-President Kashim Shettima.
He told a delegation of the World Cocoa Foundation, WCF that visited him in his office at the Aso Villa in Abuja. According to him, he has decided to take that step to encourage Cocoa farmers in the country.
He said it was part of the steps to demonstrate Nigeria’s commitment to reviving the country’s cocoa industry. During a meeting with the World Cocoa Foundation (WCF) at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Shettima expressed his desire to contribute to the industry’s growth.
