Workers in the employment of Rite Foods Limited are on top of the world. This is because the company decided to give them a treat on the International Day for workers. Rite Foods, a leading Nigerian Food and Beverage Company chose the day to celebrate it’s dedicated workforce. Rite Foods loves the theme for this year, is which is “Social Justice and Decent Work for All”, because it is committed to the welfare of its workers, just as it is fully devoted to the continuous contribution to the country’s economy.
The company commended its workers for their dedication “innovative approach, and adherence to ethical practices.” The management notes that the efforts of the workers have made it possible for the company to navigate the business environment towards getting to the current height.
Mr. Saleem Adegunwa, managing director/chief executive officer of the company said it recognises the contributions of its workforce to the success of the company. However, it is a two-way approach because the management also provides the enabling environment for workers to give their best. For instance, the respect for the rights of the workers engendered a productive environment where fairness, security, freedom and human dignity , being essential elements for growth, could be taken for granted. This shows that workers at Rite Foods Limited have come to take for granted the culture of care and respect at work, which are what are needed to motivate them to work hard and achieve great feats that have brought Rite Foods Limited to the present height.
