The Rite Foods Limited, a foremost food and beverage company in Nigeria joins the global celebration of the family on this year’s International Family Day. A release by the company says that the family is the foundation of the society, while acknowledging the different forms of family, which it says transcends blood ties.
The company says the theme of this year’s International Day of Families, which is “Embracing Diversity, Strengthening Families” captures the ‘significance of strong family bonds in nurturing love, understanding and stability’. It particularly notes that the strength of the society is rooted in the role that families play in “providing care and support to individuals.”
Mr. Seleem Adegunwa, the managing director of Rite Foods Limited, therefore, said, “International Day of Families is a reminder of the strength and love families bring to our lives.” That, he said, is one reason the company ensures that it provides quality products that cater to the needs of all age groups. He adds that the company is convinced that family is not just about blood ties, thus the realisation of the essence of “celebrating togetherness and acknowledging our unique differences”.
All this is supported by the long time romance that the Rite Foods Limited has had with the family through its sponsorship of “family-oriented initiatives”, which include “Big Family Dream”, a Nigerian reality game show that gives families opportunity to demonstrate their financial literacy knowledge among other fun games.
Aside from the fun and relaxation, participants also go home with prizes like better housing conditions, home appliances, a weekend getaway and a family dinner.
The company is equally happy that the relationship with families has also been handsomely rewarded over time.
