Governor Alex Otti has assured the people of Ohafia LGA of the support and partnership of his administration to transform the area into the livestock capital of the South East. This emanated from the Crowd Ranching Initiative of Eleanya Ojuu, the Mayor of Ohafia Local Government Area, an initiative that will spur a collaborative approach for the development of projects, initiatives or companies in the agricultural or livestock sector. The Governor also commended the young Abiriba business class for their commitment to invest N1billion to the success of the project
In his visit to Commodore Ebitu Ukiwe, the former Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, at his Country home in Abiriba, Governor Otti said their support will spur him in his quest to make Abia the envy of all. He considered this a laudable agricultural project, which will transcend his administration and even subsequent generations.
Introducing the membership of the Group, including Kelvin Jombo Onuma, Kalu Azu Kalu, head of Oil Trading, Oando Group, Mang Iwo, Robert Anya Nkata, Adriano Ogba Inah and gLeslie Ebueme Ezikpe, who spoke on behalf of the Abiriba Young Business Class. Ezikpe assured the governor of the commitment of the Abiriba Business Class and the people to help and support him to succeed. He also assured the governor of their preparedness to bring in investment into Abia State. He said this would be a show of confidence and conviction of the sterling administrative results so far since he became Governor of Abia state.
