The British American Tobacco Nigeria Foundation (BATNF) has launched a grant programme to assist young people who are in farming or have interest in it. It is s flagship programme known as Farmers for the Future (F4F) Grant program. The programme is designed to empower young agri-entrepreneurs and National Youth Service Corps, NYSC members. This initiative provides an opportunity for passionate young Nigerians to build sustainable and impactful agribusinesses.
The grant program offers a range of benefits, including up to ₦10 million in equity funding, business accelerator bootcamp, mentorship, and access to a network of young agri-entrepreneurs. By equipping young farmers with critical skills in financial management and strategic planning, the programme aims to drive innovation and growth in Nigeria’s agricultural sector.
“At BATNF, we believe agriculture is a powerful tool for economic empowerment and national development. Farmers for the Future is more than a grant; it is an opportunity to build youth-led agribusinesses that create jobs, strengthen food security, and inspire innovation across Nigeria’s agricultural value chain,” said Oludare Odusanya, General Manager of BATNF.
The application window is currently open, and interested applicants can download the BATNF Mobile App to complete the process. Potential applicants have up to July 20, 2025 to apply for the grant.
