ADELEKE’S AIDE DISTRIBUTES GIVE EMPOWERMENT SUPPORT TO IWO RESIDENTS

For Alhaji Mudashiru Nurudeen Emiloju, it has become a yearly routine exercise to empower and uplift the lives of Iwo residents and cushion the effect of economic hardship in the country.

Emiloju, a Special Adviser to the Osun State Governor on Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA), had, some years ago, launched a multi-million naira empowerment program aimed at complementing the state government in enhancing livelihoods. The recent exercise by the outfit saw over 200 beneficiaries receive support in the form of motorcycles, refrigerators, grinding machines and cash grants for different business endeavours. The cash grants ranged from N250,000 to N500,000, designed to empower beneficiaries to either start new ventures or expand existing ones.

Emiloju reiterates his commitment to contributing to the well-being of the people within his capacity, urging beneficiaries to utilize the support effectively. He also urged continued support for Governor Ademola Adelekes administration, highlighting ongoing beneficial infrastructural projects like the Iwo-Osogbo road.
He expressed gratitude to Yeyeluwa Modupeola Adeleke-Sanni for her constant encouragement and motherly love.

Governor Adeleke, represented by Hon Bayo Ogungbangbe, Commissioner for Cooperatives and Empowerment, lauded the initiative and described it as emblematic of the state governments welfare programs.
He announced the imminent disbursement of cooperative loans, reinforcing the governments commitment to economic empowerment.
