340 YOUNG FARMERS IN KANO EMPOWERED BY KANO STATE GOVERNMENT

Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has taken a significant step towards empowering young farmers in the state. Recently, 340 youths graduated from the Livestock and Horticulture Institutes, and each of them received a starter pack to kick-start their agricultural journey.

The governor’s initiative is aimed at reducing poverty and promoting food security in the state. “This programme is a demonstration of our administration’s commitment to youth empowerment and food security, which are critical to ensuring the prosperity of Kano State,” Governor Yusuf emphasised.

The graduates were equipped with the necessary tools and resources to succeed in livestock and horticulture production. The governor’s efforts are expected to have a positive impact on the state’s agricultural sector, promoting economic growth and development.
